Sunnova is taking action to maximize value for our stakeholders and secure long-term solutions for our business operations under new ownership.

On June 8, 2025, Sunnova filed voluntary petitions for chapter 11 relief to facilitate a sale process for certain of our assets and business operations. You can read more about our announcement here.

On June 12, 2025, Sunnova announced that it has agreed to the terms of a $90 million debtor-in-possession (“DIP”) financing agreement with a group of our corporate bondholders to support operations during the chapter 11 sale process. This capital will allow us to continue core operations in the ordinary course, including servicing and managing customers’ systems, and meeting post-petition obligations to our partners and other stakeholders.
